Custom Homes

We design custom homes from the ground up, guiding projects from early concepts through detailed construction documents, and beyond through construction administrative services. Each home is shaped around how our clients live, combining spatial definition, ease, and long-term performance with a polished architectural approach. Services can extend beyond plans to include interior finish selections, cabinetry layouts, and detailed design coordination as needed.

Renovations, Additions & ADUs

For existing homes, we approach renovations and additions as opportunities to improve flow, functionality, and livability. Whether expanding a footprint or reworking interiors, our designs respond to constraints thoughtfully, creating spaces that feel cohesive, efficient, and purpose-built rather than patched together.

Townhomes & Residential Developments

We work on townhomes and residential developments that require both big-picture thinking and close attention to individual units. Our experience allows us to design cohesive, interconnected projects while carefully resolving each home at a human scale.

Commercial Projects

With a background in commercial architecture, we also take on select commercial projects. Our experience includes metal-frame construction,  PEMB structures, public access requirements, and ADA considerations, ensuring spaces are functional, compliant, and well-integrated into their context.

Consulting & Visualization Services

These services provide targeted architectural support, including construction administration, code consulting, and design renderings. They are ideal for clients who need expert guidance, clear communication, or visual tools at specific stages of a project.

How We Do It

Our process is designed to bring certainty and confidence to each project. From the first conversation through final documentation, we guide clients through a structured approach that allows ideas to develop fully and intentionally.

The Process

  • We begin by having a conversation, discussing the needs, wants, end goals, priorities, functions, and overall context. Early research and site considerations help establish a clear foundation and ensure the project is framed thoughtfully from the start.

  • Multiple design ideas are developed and evaluated before a direction is selected. Sketches, reference images, drawings, and/or renderings are used as communication tools to bring ideas into focus, clarifying space, scale, and intent so decisions can be made with confidence.

  • The final design is translated into clear, permit-ready documents to support construction. For clients who choose a comprehensive level of service, involvement can continue through the construction phase to maintain continuity and design intent.

This approach allows each project to evolve with purpose, resulting in architecture that feels resolved, personal, and built to support the end users' everyday life.

Gerardo Mora

Owner and Lead Architect

Gerardo began his design career after earning a Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University. With over a decade of experience across both residential and commercial work, he brings a thoughtful, context-driven approach to every project.

A licensed architect in North Carolina, Gerardo has completed projects in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Mexico. His work reflects a strong respect for place, culture, and environment—drawing in particular from Mexico’s environmental design principles. Natural light, ventilation, and spatial comfort play an integral role in shaping his designs.

Gerardo’s work is grounded in focus and intention, with close attention paid to how spaces function and feel in daily use. He believes intelligent design, paired with environmental sensitivity, creates spaces that are not only beautiful and sustainable, but genuinely supportive of the people who live in them.

For Gerardo, architecture goes beyond form. It’s about creating spaces that respond to real life and strengthen the connection between people and their surroundings.
